AND SUPPORTED THEIR FAVORITE RESTAURANT!
WHEN THEY ORDERED THE "WASTE NOT SPECIAL," 50% OF THE PROCEEDS WERE DONATED TO WASTE NOT!
"Step Up To The Plate for Waste Not" was a 10-day fundraiser that ran from March 26 - April 4, 2010. Valley restaurants and chefs teamed up with local TV stations ABC 15, FOX 10, 12 News and 3TV as well as The Arizona Republic to raise awareness of the plight of the hungry in our community. Each Media & Restaurant Team featured a Waste Not Special at participating restaurants; every time the Special was sold, the restaurant donated half of the proceeds to Waste Not.
We used a team concept this year – and the media support of our participating restaurants as well as of our mission was unparalleled. We extend our deepest gratitude to each of our media partners, our restaurants, and to all Valley residents who made it a point to step up to the plate for Waste Not by visit participating restaurants. In these very troubled times, this collaborative support helps Waste Not continue its vital mission of feeding the hungry men, women and children of our Valley.

Clay entered all respondents in a drawing for a complimentary dinner at one of the participating restaurants.
