Chili's Donates a Record $22,383 to Waste Not!

 CHILI'S RESTAURANTS HELP WASTE NOT KEEP ON TRUCKIN' WITH RECORD DONATION OF $22,383

 

For the second year, from March 3-13, Chili’s restaurants throughout the Valley teamed up with Waste NOT
to help raise money to feed the ever-increasing number of hungry men, women and children throughout our Valley.  Spearheaded by Nick Kretsedemas, Managing Partner, Tempe, ChiliHeads throughout the Valley embraced Waste NOT and our mission by spreading the word among their customers about the overwhelming issue of hunger right here in our own back yard.  Their dedication, hard work and focus on
helping their community were an inspiration to all of us and representative of the cultural beliefs held by this amazing organization.

Henry Saether, Area Director for Chili’s stated “With the continuing economic downturn, we recognize the ongoing need in our community to step up and help feed the hungry.  We embrace the efforts of Waste NOT and feel their values and mission align with ours.  Both staff and management are proud to support them in this fundraiser. We are very proud to make this donation.”

Dee Mitten, Executive Director of Waste Not, stated “Chili’s is an invaluable community partner of Waste NOT They share our heart and spirit for helping our community, and their generous support is appreciated beyond measure. For every dollar donated, Waste NOT feeds 6 people!
